Q1. How much are living expenses for one month?

The national average of living expenses for foreign students in Japan is 83,000 yen per month, not including tuition fees. See the table below for a breakdown of major expenses (excluding tuition fees).

Q2. Can I apply directly without using an intermediary agent, and how?
 
A2. Yes. You can apply directly. First, contact us by email, fax or telephone, and we will answer your inquiries directly in Japanese, English, Chinese or Korean.
Q3. What conditions must I fulfill in order to apply?
 
A3. To qualify for admission into Kobe Toyo Japanese College, an applicant must fulfill
the following two conditions:
1.
The applicant has completed a minimum of twelve years of education in a foreign country, or is in possession of a qualification recognized as being of equivalent standard by the Japanese Ministry of Education, Science, Sports and Culture.
2.
The applicant must be over 18 years of age
Q4. Can anybody join the short-term courses (Language Camps)?
 
A4. Yes! If you are a little hesitant about studying in Japan for a year or more, we recommend you join the short-term course. You can join by yourself or with your friends. Contact us for details. (Please contact us early because visa delays may occur depending on where you are from.)
Q5. I have questions to ask, but I cannot speak Japanese. Is it OK to contact you in my language?
 
A5. Of course! In addition to Japanese, our staff can also answer your questions in English, Chinese and Korean.
Q6. How can I pay the Application fee?
 
A6. The 30,000 yen application fee (must be paid when you apply for any courses) should be remitted to our designated bank account before you send us your application forms. Please keep the original transaction details and send us a copy with your application forms.
